Today’s airdrop is Rhovit (Rbit).

Rhovit is an entertainment platform featuring short-form video and articles. Creators earn both U.S. dollars and Rbit tokens for their content, while viewers are rewarded with Rbit tokens and Loot (which they can exchange for tokens).

Rhovit is airdropping referral tokens. You can earn 40 Rbit tokens (worth about $10) for each referral who signs up and unlocks content.

What Is Rhovit?

Rhovit was created in 2012 by filmmakers who wanted to fix a system plagued by high platform fees, transaction fees, middlemen, skipped ads, ad blockers, low CPMs (cost per thousand impressions) and expectations of free content. The creators set out to give artists all the power of a major platform but the freedom and profit of a more niche site they’d own themselves.

When viewers spend points to unlock content, they earn Loot. Users can exchange their accumulated Loot for Rbit tokens, which can buy digital goods in Rhovit’s digital store. Or they can move their Rbits to their NEM (New Economy Movement) wallet. If they want, they can also sell them on cryptocurrency exchanges. Content creators (mostly gamers, bloggers and video producers) get to keep ALL of the points spent on their content.

Rhovit plans to launch digital shops that will feature non-fungible tokens and other goods, including video game presales.

Why We Like It

Rhovit is already in beta with thousands of users watching and earning. And, unlike many content-driven incentive platforms, Rhovit pays both creators and viewers. Since the points that creators earn are U.S. dollar-backed, Rhovit pays content creators in U.S. dollars as opposed to the native cryptocoin – an interesting and unusual approach. The incentive for content creators is freedom and profit. It’s an interesting strategy that rewards content producers immediately (via weekly payouts) and painlessly (no need to exchange coins for dollars). By contrast, YouTube requires content producers to achieve milestones with millions of subscribers and ad clicks to earn cash.

How It Works

Under each video is an “unlock” button that will tell you how many points you need to spend. For every two points you spend, you earn one Loot. Accumulating 20 Loot will give you one Rbit. New points are distributed every Saturday. Users can also buy Point Packs. One hundred percent of points spent go to the content creator. The Rbit token is an NEM-based mosaic token.

How to Claim the Airdrop

You receive Rbits only for referring new users. For each referral who signs up, you earn 40 Rbit tokens (worth about $10)… but only if they unlock content. The top 100 people with the most referrals will also win a limited-edition Black Card. (Black Cards are an Enjin-backed, non-fungible token that will get the holder special perks on the platform, such as discounts and exclusive access to digital events. Only 300 Black Cards will be minted.)

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Register for the Rhovit airdrop by creating an account.
  2. Verify your email and mobile number and log in to your account.
  3. Go to the “Bonus Earnings” section on the platform.
  4. Copy and share your personal link to invite friends and post on social media.
  5. Referrals must sign up for a Rhovit account AND unlock at least one piece of content.

Important Notes

Rbit tokens are deposited into your Rhovit account immediately for you to claim and move to your personal NEM Nano Desktop Wallet or NEM Wallet Pro by HEX Dev Co for Android.

Never give anyone your email password or private keys. No legitimate airdrop will ask for that information.

Never reuse your email or exchange passwords. Always use unique, random passwords. Write them down and store them somewhere safe. We also recommend setting up a separate email account for airdrops.
